New Acrylic PVC Fencing

This new fencing range has been developed incorporating a new Acrylic/PVC skin. This provides the colour stability that ensures your fencing will look as good in 20 years time as it does on the day that it is erected.

It can withstand extreme weather conditions and is a robust, maintenance free product that will not rot. The hard wearing, smooth, splinter free surface makes it ideal for children in a domestic or commercial environment.

Designed to provide a 2, 3 or 4 rail premium system incorporating a “click in locking” design. The standard posts are fitted 1.2 metres above the ground height with a spacing of 1.5 metres. Alternative lengths or heights can be made to your specification.

FITTING INSTRUCTIONS

1.
Mark out on the ground with pegs exactly where you require the fence posts to be located. Bear in mind the standard width between posts is 2 metres.
2.
Run a line of tight string around the perimeter of the fence line to ensure there are no potential problems.
3.
Make certain there are no underground services below the location of the posts.
4.
Dig a hole at least 500mm deep and 300mm wide. Repeat for each post required.
5.
The fence should then be assembled into manageable sections and lifted into each post hole. Assistance may be required.
6.
Assembly of the fence and rail is simple and all that is required is the rail to be fed into the mortice holes on the post. Where two rails come together ensure that you do not butt the ends of the rails against each other. Allow a gap of 12 - 25mm for expansion.
7.
Using a spirit level in both planes check that the posts are upright. Gently raise or lower posts until rails are level whilst maintaining them in an upright position.
8.
Once the posts are upright and the rails are level back fill around the posts with concrete.
9.
If the ground is sloping, rails can be angled by approximately 5 degrees within the normal mortice holes. Should a larger angle be necessary the holes can be sanded or filed.
10.
The post caps can then be fitted by aligning to the posts and gently tapping into place. For a permanent fixing a PVC solvent adhesive can be used.
11.
Posts can be filled with a dry mix for maximum rigidity if required.
